Fillzz collects the minimum information required to provide our fuel price comparison service:
Account & contact details
Email address, display name, and password hash when you create an optional Fillzz account. Guests can use the app without registering.
Location data
Approximate device location when you grant permission so we can display nearby stations. Location data is processed on-device and is not stored permanently on our servers.
Usage & preferences
App interactions, preferred fuel types, and chosen stations to help us improve Fillzz and remember your settings across sessions.
Community price reports
Fuel prices that you submit, including optional photos or receipts used to verify accuracy before publishing.
We only use your data to power Fillzz features and ensure a reliable experience:
- Display accurate fuel prices, station details, and navigation links
- Send push notifications for price alerts you enable
- Moderate community price reports and prevent abuse
- Analyse anonymised usage trends to improve the product
- Respond to support requests and feature feedback
- Comply with legal obligations and maintain platform security
We use industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS encryption, role-based access controls, and regular audits. Sensitive data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We never sell personal data to third parties.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share data in the following limited situations:
- With service providers that help us operate Fillzz (for example, analytics or messaging tools) under strict data-processing agreements
- When required to comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal requests
- To investigate and prevent fraud, security issues, or abuse of the platform
- If Fillzz undergoes a merger or acquisition, in which case you will be notified before your data is transferred
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

- Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete your account and associated personal information
- Export your data in a portable format

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to deliver the service. Account data is kept while your account is active. Price reports are stored so we can maintain historical trends, but they are anonymised after verification. You can request deletion at any time.
Fillzz is designed for drivers aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact [email protected] so we can delete it.
Fillzz is operated from the European Union with infrastructure hosted in the EU and UK. If data is transferred outside these regions, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful safeguards to protect your information.
We may update this policy as Fillzz evolves. When we make material changes, we will post the new policy within the app and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Fillzz after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
